Microraptor
Constructed after a design of French architect Étienne-Louis Boullée that was never realized in his lifetime, the Gernsbeck Cenotaph is one of the city's major landmarks.
(In my comic, we so far only had this glimpse of it in the lower left panel of this page.)
In contrast to the original design, it has a giant Foucault pendulum inside.

Thanks! It feels nice to have completed an artistic challenge like this. :-)

Fenestra... is not another relative of Dexter and Sinistra. ;-)
Instead, it's the Latin word for "window". And provided I didn't totally botch the translation, the full inscription means "Close the window!"
See, that part of the building's facade looked empty, and since this edifice was supposed to be a cenotaph for Isaac Newton, I decided put in there (a very shortened version of) the silliest quote by Newton I could think of...
